Meet The Artist - Terry Niedzialek
Terry Niedzialek is a sculptor, painter,
dancer, performance artist and shiatsu massage therapist based
in Kutztown PA. Her work is an intersection of large scale sculpture,
painting, hair sculpture, the body, nature, movement, energy and
healing. Various media are used to explore issues of body, nature
and transformation. She received a BFA from New York Institute
of Technology. Since 1983, hair sculpture exhibitions, live events
and performances have been presented in the US and Europe, and
through the worldwide media. After spending the 1980’s in
the East Village, she left to found a studio in rural Pennsylvania.
Blending art and healing, her art evolved to include more natural
elements.
